Pete actually had the stop sign up when she was a stride and a half from third, but she didn't see it until it was too late.

And he had the stop sign up for Bennett to stay at second.

Look, no one purposefully makes a mistake, but it happens. I try not to blame anyone on the board, but if someone else is accusing the wrong person, I will voice my opinion. In this case, it was not the coach's fault.
